Feb 13 I think we can all agree Patriots fans are objectively the worst

In another win for white supremacy, Tommy Brady landed himself and his team a fifth Super Bowl title, and another wintery duck boat parade through the heart of Boston.

Apparently the City of Boston is now cool with its youth playing truant as the sidewalks were filled with youths and grown men who probably should've had better judgement than to stand in the blasting snow. Still, not wanting to be a complete killjoy, I headed for a one Emerson College's buildings that overlooked the Common and the parade route, to observe the festivities.

After I'd shouldered my way past more straight white males than I cared to, and climbed several flights of stairs looking for a suitable perch, I found a spot on the ninth floor by a window, and felt warm from both the building's heating and the sense of smugness I felt, watching the plebeians in the cold.

The swollen crowd below kept itself warm with chants of "U-S-A," along with other vaguely jingoistic chants. If it wasn't terrifying enough watching these people's dedication to a group of sports players who've already won the thing many times in recent memory, listening to chants that would sound equally at home at a Trump rally really put me at ease.
