Hi.

Welcome to my blog. Much like the rest of my life, it's still a work in progress, but you're very welcome to take a look around. I hope you like what you see and read. And if you don't... That's why the comments are disabled.

The Last 6 Years: The Farmer's Dog Work

The Last 6 Years: The Farmer's Dog Work

This ain’t no mommy blog, here’s the LINK TO MY PORTFOLIO.

In June of 2019 I joined an 80-person company based in a small office with a leaking ceiling in Williamsburg, assembled from some of the most talented and caring people all willing to dedicate their professional time to making healthier dog food more widely accessible.

In September of 2025, atop a marriage, high school reunion, honeymoon, and scoring the best goal of my life on a soccer field — I depart The Farmer’s Dog as an 800 person company, graduating from the West Village to a SoHo office above an Equinox, and the third largest pet food company in the world.

In my tenure as the company’s first copywriter, then managing a copy team, and overseeing content strategy and development for half a business’ worth of assets in Retention and Product channels, I had the chance to produce every type of asset for every type of channel.

Within my first few weeks, I was working on a subway ads campaign — which went live as the pandemic kicked in. A Paula Scher / Pentagon-driven brand refresh around the same time also provided plenty of work across every part of the business. And then there was a small matter of building a product, while also satisfying the voracious appetite of the acquisition spend.

I wrote commercials for a collab spot with Disney (in less than 2 weeks), pet food parody commercials, even a suite of onboarding videos to aid product usage. A Seattle Sounders stadium takeover with soccer themed copy was a personal highlight. I literally wrote the company voice guide, owned the bible of our permissible claims and their scientific basis, and told the story of TFD across uncountable channels. Plus generated lasting and load-bearing social series, foundational email flows, and content strategy resources that will be relevant for years to come.

If you’re looking for a versatile, passionate, and insightful content creative — equally adept at spinning up quippy, attention-grabbers as deeply researched, strategic long-form — who leads by example, and is equally happy collaborating with diverse stakeholders as diving into deep focus mode, get in touch.

My favorite work is an interesting challenge, with great teammates. I’m looking forward to hearing about yours!
